At age eighteen in the throes of rebellion against God at Bible college, I finally made the most important decision I would ever make--to trust God with my life and to commit to serve Him in life-long ministry. It’s a decision i’ll never regret.
Twenty-eight years ago today, having been through a huge painful unwanted life transition, I made the second most important decision of my life--to believe in marriage once again and to discover the joy of sharing life with God’s great and gracious gift to me--Beverly.
A blended family of six children and twelve grandchildren, punctuated with the arrival of our first great grandchild in May--Bridget Grace--(another to come in July), has provided me with an incredible array of special people with which to enjoy and celebrate life. This, too, is a decision I’ve never regretted.
These two momentous decisions have shaped the course of my life for a sense if meaningfulness and fulfillment and have provided motivation to experience and enjoy each day. They are reflective of the two major decisions we will all make--who we will serve and with whom we will spend our life.
On this my twenty-eighth anniversary I give thanks to God for His faithfulness and for my incredible family.
“I cherish you, Beverly”
And I as your sister am SO HAPPY you married her ❤️❤️❤️
Great decision, my wife and a mutual friend help make that introduction. Thinking back on that day it was hilarious as Bev didn't want to get out of the car. So much fun...
